Jestem etykiem biznesu łączącym badania naukowe z pracą w biznesie i współpracą z administracją centralną. Od 15 lat teoretycznie i praktycznie zajmuję się etyką biznesu, ESG, odpowiedzialnym inwestowaniem, compliance, ładem korporacyjnym i prawami człowieka.
Jestem Partnerem oraz Head of Value Enhancement Team w funduszu inwestycyjnym Abris Capital Partners. Współpracuję na stałe z Katedrą Przedsiębiorczości i Etyki w Biznesie Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego. Jestem członkiem Rady CET – Centrum Etyki Technologii. Posiadam stopień naukowy doktora habilitowanego w dyscyplinie nauk o zarządzaniu i jakości.
Zrealizowałem kilkadziesiąt projektów doradczych wspierając rady nadzorcze i zarządy spółek oraz fundusze inwestycyjne we wdrażaniu programów etycznych, systemów antykorupcyjnych, strategii odpowiedzialnego biznesu, ESG i ładu korporacyjnego.
Doświadczenia zawodowe zdobywałem pracując między innymi w EY w Zespole Zarządzania Ryzykiem Nadużyć oraz Zespole Zmian Klimatu i Zrównoważonego Rozwoju. Jestem autorem i współautorem kilkudziesięciu artykułów naukowych, analiz, raportów, przewodników i narzędzi dla biznesu, w tym książek „Nieodkryci przywódcy współczesnej etyki biznesu” oraz „Etyka i prawa człowieka w biznesie. W poszukiwaniu metody”.
Od 2009 jestem zapraszany przez administrację centralną do licznych grup roboczych i ciał eksperckich. W latach 2010 – 2013 przewodniczyłem Grupie roboczej ds. odpowiedzialnego inwestowania działającej przy zespole opiniodawczo-doradczym Prezesa Rady Ministrów. W latach 2016 – 2017 byłem członkiem Zespołu do spraw Zrównoważonego Rozwoju i Społecznej Odpowiedzialności Przedsiębiorstw, organu pomocniczego Ministra Rozwoju i Finansów, w ramach którego przewodniczyłem Grupie roboczej ds. etyki i standardów odpowiedzialnego prowadzenia biznesu.
Studiowałem i odbywałem staże naukowe na Uniwersytecie Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego, KU Leuven w Belgii, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences w Finlandii oraz w Institute for Sustainability Leadreship University of Cambridge.
Jestem członkiem Invest Europe ESG Committee oraz European Business Ethics Network. Ukończyłem kurs dla członków rad nadzorczych. W 2021 roku Forbes Polska uhonorował mnie nagrodą główną w kategorii „Odpowiedzialny Kapitał” a The Drawdown przyznał mi nagrodę „ESG Professional of the Year” 2022. Privare Equity News zaliczył mnie do grona najbardziej opiniotwórczych osób w zakresie ESG.
Jestem absolwentem University Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadrship oraz ukończyłem Oxford Impact Investing Program na Said Business School w Oxfordzie.
I am a Partner and Head of the Value Enhancement Team, including ESG, at Abris Capital Partners. My responsibilities encompass developing and overseeing a responsible investment policy and all ESG areas. With 15 years of experience, I have worked extensively on business ethics, ESG, corporate governance, anti-bribery, human rights, and sustainable development projects.
I hold a post-doctoral degree in management and quality studies and collaborate with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics at Kozminski University. Additionally, I serve as a member of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Ethics of Technology at the Humanities Institute.
Previously, I worked as a Manager at EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services and EY Business Integrity and Corporate Compliance practice in Warsaw. I also worked as the CSR Manager at Grupa Żywiec (Heineken Poland), successfully leading the company to the Respect Index, which recognizes socially responsible companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
I am actively involved in industry associations, including the Invest Europe ESG Committee and the European Business Ethics Network. From 2009 to 2014, I headed the Working Group on Responsible Investing in the Prime Minister’s CSR Advisory Team. Additionally, between 2016 and 2018, I chaired the Ethics and Responsible Business Standards Working Group at the Ministry of Economic Development in Poland.
As an initiator, author, and co-author of several research reports, I have contributed to projects such as the ESG Analysis of Companies in Poland and various reports on ESG, responsible investment, and business ethics. I have also co-authored a practical tool for investors and companies on preventing forced labor.
I possess extensive knowledge and experience in sustainability standards and guidelines, including ISO26000, SMETA, BSCI, and SA8000. I share my expertise as a lecturer of SRI, ESG and Business Ethics at Kozminski University in Warsaw. Furthermore, I have authored books titled „Undiscovered Leaders of Business Ethics” and „Ethics and Human Rights in Business.”
I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership and have completed the Oxford Impact Investing Program at Saïd Business School. It was a great honor to be awarded 'ESG Professional of the Year’ at The Drawdown Awards 2022 in London and to be named one of the Twenty Most Influential in ESG in 2023 by Private Equity New.
